Orange makes every step count with the All Connected Challenge
May 4, 2026
What if working out with your colleagues could help fund education for young people in need? For ten days, Orange made this possible with the group-wide All Connected Challenge, encouraging the people of Orange to get active for a good cause.
Between April 1st and 10th, the Orange Group organised the third edition of the All Connected Challenge. This year, it was more connected and accessible than ever. For ten days, Orange employees from around the world grabbed their running or walking shoes to create even more cohesion, solidarity, and a little healthy competition. Spoiler: they did a great job.

Moving together is always better
The concept of the challenge? Four colleagues form a mixed squad and set out to clock 200,000 steps in 10 days by walking or running. As well as improving everyone's health, the challenge had another valuable benefit: the more colleagues who signed up, the more money the Orange Foundation could donate to young people in need around the world.
This third edition introduced two new elements: alongside the step challenge, participants took part in daily quizzes on the Orange company app to get more familiar with the new 'Trust the future' strategic plan. The All Connected Live sessions, which were streamed by the Group across every Orange country, brought colleagues around the world together in real time. They showcased the best of the challenge, shared tips and tricks, and presented fun initiatives enabling their positive energy to cross borders.
This year, over 22,000 colleagues worldwide took part in the All Connected Challenge, unlocking €250,000 of funding from the Group for youth education projects all around the world, led by the Orange Foundation.

We're all winners in team Orange Belgium
Among the 22,000 participants, more than 400 were colleagues from Belgium. Thanks to the Orange Foundation’s increased focus on local impact and wider range of projects, their efforts will also make a real difference closer to home.
Through #ForGoodConnections, Orange is committed to helping children grow up safely in an increasingly digital world. By supporting both parents and young people, the initiative promotes responsible digital use and tackles challenges such as inappropriate content and cyberbullying.
In Belgium, Orange already supports Pimento, a Flemish non-profit dedicated to the mental wellbeing of young people. As part of this commitment, and thanks to the participation of our employees in the All Connected Challenge, Orange Belgium will increase its financial support for Pimento significantly. This additional funding will enable Pimento to organise (cyber)bullying workshops in schools promoting positive discrimination, helping to create a safer digital environment for all. Because every child deserves to feel safe, both online and offline. That’s what #ForGoodConnections is all about.
Of course, there was also a healthy dose of competition. Every squad that reached 200,000 steps and shared their enthusiasm on social media had the chance to win a three-day stay in Madrid or Marseille. The Madrid prize included tickets to a Real Madrid match, the Marseille prize included VIP tickets to a concert. Not bad at all! This year, a Belgian team was one of the lucky winners. And, on top of that, Orange Belgium rewarded its top team, who reached an impressive 875,000 steps in 10 days, with a treadmill for each team member. It’s clear that working at Orange pays off in various ways! 😉
