Giga Together Radio
21 December 2023
On Thursday 21 December, we broadcast three glorious hours of radio in the company of presenters Dorien Leyers and David Antoine. Listeners could tune in to Giga Together Radio live online, or from the terrace of our company restaurant, bistrO, perhaps while enjoying a fresh waffle or warming hot chocolate. So what did we cover during the broadcast?
Colleagues sat and discussed their first six months since Orange and VOO joined forces in June. Things also took a sporty turn, with a look back at the Ekiden Estafette Loop, in which 36 brave colleagues from both Orange and VOO took part. Plus, as a proud partner of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, we listened in awe to stories from Olympic athlete Noah Kuavita and Paralympian Léa Bayekula.
The holidays are also a time of solidarity. To that end, we donated the proceeds from our raffle to two organisations that promote digital inclusion: TADA, a learning network for vulnerable young people that runs weekend classes with the aim of offering everyone equal opportunities for growth; and Girleek, a non-profit whose goal is to empower (digitally) vulnerable women with targeted training courses. As well as supporting some great causes, our raffle also saw a few lucky colleagues take home some fantastic prizes, including an iPhone 15 and a Samsung Galaxy S23.

Finally, listeners and those present were treated to a radio exclusive: the debut single by our very own 18-member Orange Band & Friends!
We are proud and grateful to have experienced this lovely moment with the entire Orange family #ProudToBeOrange. We’d also like to wish your family a warm and joyful festive season. Happy holidays!
