Orange proudly works up a sweat during the Brussels 20km race
30 May 2023
At Orange, we care about the health of our colleagues. That’s exactly why we encouraged our people to take part in the Brussels 20km race. Nothing like a good run or walk to support a good cause, right?

First place in team spirit
Proving that our team is not only full of sporty but also motivated people, some of the colleagues working at Orange volunteered to organize group walking or jogging sessions during lunch or after work. These passionate people made it easier for everyone to join the challenging race.
What's more, we also offered a ticket to all participants, making it even more convenient to attend the race.
The Orange treatment
On Sunday, the jerseys we provided shone even more proudly than usual. And those Orange jerseys were numerous. As the main sponsor, we mobilized a crew of no less than 150 people in Brussels. Many of them work for Orange, others registered for the event through ‘Keeping me alive’.
Before the race, we welcomed all runners and walkers of team Orange in our own tent. Here they could meet each other before and after the event. And because we know that running 20km isn't just a casual thing, but requires a lot of determination, we even provided a unique extra: sports physiotherapists offering free post-race treatments and massages. All to keep our people healthy and happy.

#ProudToBeOrange, once again
Colleague Matthieu De Belloy is one of these happy people: “Thanks to Orange, we were able to run as 1 team with colleagues from different departments. We cheered each other on, under a beautiful sun and in an amazing atmosphere. It was great.”
Needless to say, team Orange did a great job and passed with flying colors. Each and every participant has represented Orange in such a numerous and powerful way. Once again, we’re #ProudToBeOrange and hope to see you all again next year.
Maybe you can also join us next year?
