AI is moving at a ridiculous speed. The kind of speed where ‘interesting’ turns into ‘indispensable’ before you’ve even finished your coffee. And at Orange, we’re not watching that shift from the sidelines.
Last Thursday, May 21st, Orange Belgium hosted a full AI Day at its HQ for all its employees. A day to explore how AI is so much more than a shiny gadget: reliable technology that empowers us to innovate, grow, and deliver on our promise of trust—to our customers, our team members, and society.

A vision of AI rooted in Orange Belgium’s strategy
We kicked off the day with an inspiring plenary session, featuring engaging speakers from Orange Belgium, including our own CEO, and the Orange Group, during which our vision on AI became clear: co-intelligence. AI doesn’t replace human talent. It boosts it. Creativity, critical thinking, problem solving. The good stuff.
And it is Orange’s ambition to help build a responsible, ethical and inclusive digital world and act as a trusted partner in everyone’s digital life – an overall commitment that lies at the heart of our strategic plan, Trust the future.
Future-proof
Orange Belgium already walks the talk. By reinventing career paths and roles in order to support employees through continuous learning, upskilling and reskilling. By rethinking the balance between human expertise, processes, data and AI capabilities too.
With success: our employees already anticipate a positive impact of AI on their work and future development. No doubt the Orange Group’s company personalized generative AI tool and career ambition platform has something to do with that. 😉 And, also it is no surprise that the AI Day discover corners on those topics were an absolute success.
On top of that also the AI breakout sessions were fully booked. The proof is in the pudding: Orange Belgium’s team members aren’t afraid of AI- they want to understand it, question it, and use it well. We have every reason to be proud and to Trust the future! How wonderful is that?
