That’s why on September 14 to 18, Orange teams across the Group came together for a week dedicated entirely to skills. From understanding how market transformations affect our business to discovering the skills that will make a difference in tomorrow’s roles. The event brought together inspiring speakers, expert insights, testimonials, roundtable discussions, workshops, webinars, challenges and practical resources. All designed to help employees make skills development more concrete and accessible.

The Orange Group program featured a variety of accessible formats to navigate at their own pace, with exclusive and additional content every day on the dedicated platform. And, yes, also daily challenges to win a 3-day learning expedition in Paris. On top of that, Orange Belgium’s inspiring leaders kicked off the week with a special opening keynote sharing their perspectives on the future of work, strategic skills and collective growth. From there, a rich local week program unfolded with inspiring online and live sessions across its 3 main office sites including topics as neurodiversity, critical thinking in the age of AI, customer relations, process communication models and more.
Across the different sites and departments, our HR Thriving Team also brought topics to life that matter to our people and our communities — dedicated info corners were set up to share ideas, tips and best practices on everything from learning and skills development to well-being, live intelligence with AI, our technical career campus and digital inclusion for seniors.
Together, the Group-wide learning journey and the local Orange Belgium initiatives created a week full of opportunities to discover new skills, innovation, exchange knowledge and keep growing for what’s next.
What stood out most was the collective enthusiasm and commitment to growth. Throughout the week, more than 400 Belgian employees embraced continuous learning. One event, one shared vision: the purpose, priorities and momentum behind skills development. Because knowing that the world is changing is one thing. Knowing what that means for your role, your skills and your career is another.
Learning isn’t just about taking a training course
It’s about knowing where to look, discovering what skills matter for the future and taking concrete steps to develop them. Earlier this year, Orange Belgium launched a Group-wide skills platform that allows you to build your personalized development journey. Whether it is learning new skills or choosing a new career path, yes, you can!
