Orange Belgium Team proudly ran the Brussels 20 km!
May 26, 2025
On Sunday 25 May, the streets of Brussels filled with over 45,000 runners and walkers for the 45th edition (and sold-out!) Brussels 20 km. Just like last year, we showed up strong! Dozens of colleagues, one team, and a sea of orange shirts.
Some pushed for a personal best. Others ran for the vibe and the team spirit. But we all moved together, with just the right mix of encouragement and friendly competition. That’s Orange for you!
Running with purpose for SOS Kinderdorpen/SOS Village d’Enfants
Before and after the race, our runners were welcomed at the SOS Kinderdorpen stand with drinks, snacks and a place to recharge: physically, emotionally, and maybe even socially. Our Orange shirts and race numbers were handed out on the spot, and could be seen all along the course. It gave the day extra meaning and reminded us why we run together in the first place.
We kept everyone connected, flawlessly!
Behind the scenes, we were proud to play our part in making the Brussels 20 km a success. For the first time, we deployed two mobile BTS units to provide full 5G coverage across the event area.
That meant flawless connectivity for runners and supporters alike: from live updates and tracking apps to team selfies and “we did it!” texts. No delays, no drops. Just strong signal, start to finish.
One team: our road to the Brussels 20 km
Thanks to our online running community, participants stayed in touch and trained together for weeks. Some squeezed in walks over lunch. Others followed the advice of our sport captains to build up distance gradually. Whether you were running or cheering, you felt the momentum growing.

#ProudToBeOrange again!
From start to finish, this edition had everything: team spirit, solidarity and strong legs. We’re proud of every colleague who showed up and gave it their all, whether on the course or behind the scenes.
Will you be joining us at the start line next year?
