Shaping the future of tech with Orange Fab
February 17, 2026
On February 9th, Orange Belgium brought together innovative AI start-ups and tech experts for the Open Innovation Night at The Standard in Brussels, crowning six AI innovators in the 8th Orange Fab edition. One thing was clear: open innovation isn’t just a buzzword; it's how we at Orange are building the telecoms network of tomorrow.
At Orange Belgium, we believe that the future of tech is created in mutual beneficial partnerships with high-potential start-ups and scale-ups. Through Orange Fab we bring them closer to our teams, and turn bold ideas into real solutions that have a tangible impact on our business.
The focus of this accelerator programme was AI-driven, addressing five business challenges in customer experience, geomarketing, digital engagement, salesforce efficiency, and network resilience. After all, a high-speed, sustainable, reliable telecom network starts with the best ideas and the courage to test them.

Meet the innovators shaping our future-proof network
The Orange Fab Belgium team individually scouted, selected and analysed all submitted start-up solutions. Out of almost 80 AI innovation ideas, the expert jury ultimately selected six winners, each bringing a strong vision and clear business value. Winners Druid AI, Roamler, SmartSpotter, Superchat, Donna and Camunda demonstrated how advanced AI can reinforce practical, scalable technology.
Each start-up will now enter a six-month proof of concept programme at Orange Belgium, receiving tailored support from Orange Fab, and exposure through Orange’s international network, as well as exclusive access to our B2B and B2C customers. Coaching these start-ups enables us to fast-track the development of innovative solutions that will benefit our customers. As the start-ups grow, so does our business.
The Open Innovation Night also provided an opportunity for inspiration and networking. A keynote on the topics of AI and Creativity was delivered by Diane Benhamou, a French content creator and influencer. This was followed by a panel discussion comprising tech experts Diane Benhamou, Miguel Alvarez (Chief Data and AI Officer at Orange Business) and Jorim Rademaker (Founder & CEO of Manual.to). The event brought together a deep level of expertise and a shared sense of curiosity. A combination that naturally leads to meaningful progress.
