Orange Belgium is once again offering tech students the opportunity to kick-start their professional journey in a real tech environment.
This year, the Tech Academy by Orange is bringing back the Orange Summer School, and it promises to be another month full of real challenges, fresh insights, and strong networking opportunities.

What will you learn at the Orange Summer School? 🚀
The Orange Summer School is an exclusive four-week summer programme in which 10 students secure a spot at the heart of Orange Belgium's tech scene. Step into a unique internship full of learning experiences:
- workshops,
- tips & tricks from experts in the field,
- company visits,
- spontaneous coffees with engineers and other tech professionals.
It's all in the mix! You get the opportunity as a student to step into your future today.
What will you experience during this tech journey? 🔍
A lot. And above all: use cases and business processes that you can't experience or learn at school.
Because for 4 weeks, you will be immersed in the telecom industry. You will discover how networks work, how 5G is applied in sectors like security or healthcare, how data centres work, and how Orange is committed to innovation (from cybersecurity to real-time data).
Killian, who joined Orange Belgium permanently after the Orange Summer School, calls the 5G lab his personal highlight: "We explored applications such as piloting drones, working with high-resolution cameras and even controlling robots. 5G is much more than ‘fast internet’, it opens the door to real-time interventions in sectors where every second counts."
Anne-Marie, master’s student in Computer Science, was particularly impressed by the visit to the data centre: "Seeing that massive processing power up close—that’s something you just don’t learn in a classroom. And at the same time, we also gained insights into business processes and partnerships. This learning experience offers such a great blend of tech and real-world exposure."
The common thread? You won’t be sitting in a classroom—you’ll be getting hands-on. You’ll explore business tools and learn to use them, work on concrete cases, and talk to people who keep the tech engine running every day. A true eye-opener and a reality check.

Orange joins the fight against cancer in the Corporate Cup!
The Gamers Care - Corporate Cup is an inter-company esports tournament organized in favor of the fight against cancer. On April 21, eight company teams were challenged in various games to raise money for Gamers Care and Kom op tegen Kanker. A team of five Orange employees also participated.
